11.8.1 ADSL Profile Setup Screen
A profile is a list of settings that you define. Then you can assign them to one or more individual ports.
Click the Profile Setup link in the Port Setup screen to go to the Profile Setup screen.

LABEL DESCRIPTION
Port Setup Click this link to go to the Port Setup screen.
Profile Name These are the names of individual profiles. The DEFVAL profile always exists and all of the DSL
ports have it assigned to them by default. Click a profile’s name to go to a screen where you can
edit the profile.
Latency Mode This is the ADSL latency mode (fast or interleave) for the ports that use this profile.
Upstream Max
Rate: Kbps
This is the maximum upstream transfer rate for the ports that use this profile. Speeds from 32 to
1024 kilobits per second (Kbps) are supported.
Downstream Max
Rate: Kbps
This is the maximum downstream transfer rate for the ports that use this profile. Speeds from 32
to 8160 (Kbps) are supported.
Add Click this button to configure a new profile.
Delete Select a profile’s Delete check box and click the Delete button to remove the profile.
