Use SMS Cell Broadcast
If SMS Cell Broadcast is supported
by your service provider and region,
you can receive text messages
broadcast to multiple subscribers in
the area.
1. Tap > Settings > Personal >
Phone > Channels tab.
2. Select the
Enable SMS Cell
Broadcast check box.
3. Tap
Set Languages, select one
or more languages, and tap OK.
4. Tap
Set Channels, select one or
more channels, and tap OK.
Add a New Channel
1. Tap > Settings > Personal
> Phone > Channels tab > Set
Channels > New.
2. Enter the channel name and
number, and tap OK.

Adjust the Map Settings
1. Tap > Settings > Navigation
> Map.
2. Tap a setting to adjust it.
Map Detail—adjust the
amount of detail shown on
the map. Showing more detail
may cause the map to redraw
slower.
Orientation—select 3
Dimensional to display the
map in 3 dimensions (3D)
with your direction of travel at
the top; Track Up to display
the map in two dimensions
(2D) with your direction of
travel at the top; or North Up
to display the map in 2D with
North at the top.
Show Location—show your
location on the nearest road
or at your GPS location.
