Checking forVoicemail Messages While
Roaming
When you are roaming off the Sprint National Network,
you may not receive on-phone notification of new
voicemail messages. Callers can still leave messages,
but you will need to periodically check yourvoicemail for
new messages if you are in a roaming service area for
an extended period of time.
1. Dial 1 + area code + yourphone number.
2. When you hearyourvoicemail greeting, press .
3. Enteryourpasscode at the prompt and follow the
voice prompts.
Setting Your Phone’s Roam Mode
Yourphone allows you to control yourroaming
capabilities. By using the Roaming menu option, you
can determine which signals yourphone accepts.
Set Mode
Choose from three different settings on yourphone to
control yourroaming experience.
1. Press > Settings > More...> Roaming > Set Mode.
2. Select an option and press .

Sprint Only
to access the Nationwide Sprint PCS
Network only and prevent roaming on other
networks.
Ⅲ
Automatic to seek service on the Sprint National
Network. When Sprint service is unavailable, the
phone searches foran alternate system.
Ⅲ
Roaming Only to seek a roaming system only.The
previous setting (Sprint Only orAutomatic) is
restored the next time the phone is turned on.
Note
If you’re on a call when you leave the Sprint National
Network and enteran area where roaming is
available , yourcall is dropped. If yourcall is dropped
in an area where you think Sprint service is available,
turn yourphone offand on again to reconnect to
the Sprint National Network.
