17. Troubleshooting
Memory low
When the following notes are shown, the phone memory is
low and you must start to delete some data: Not enough
memory to perform operation. Delete some data first. or Memory
low. Delete some data. To view what kind of data you have and
how much memory the different data groups consume, go to
Manager and select OptionsMemory details.
You may want to delete the following items regularly to
avoid memory getting low:
messages from the Inbox, Drafts, and Sent folders in
Messaging,
retrieved e-mail messages from the phone memory,
saved browser pages, and
images and photos in Images.
If you want to delete contact information, calendar notes, call
timers, call cost timers, game scores, or any other data, go to
the respective application to remove the data.
If you are deleting multiple items and another of the
following notes are shown: Not enough memory to perform
operation. Delete some data first. or Memory low. Delete some
data., try deleting items one by one (starting from the smallest
item).
Clearing calendar memory - To remove more than one event
at a time, go to the Month view and select Options Delete
entry and either
Before date - to delete all calendar notes which take place
before a certain date. Enter the date before which all
calendar notes will be deleted, or
All entries - to delete all calendar notes.
Erasing log information - To erase all the log contents,
Recent calls register, and Messaging delivery reports
permanently, go to Logs and select Options Clear log or go
to Settings Log duration No log.
Different ways to store data:
use PC Suite for Nokia 3660 to take a backup copy of all
data to your computer, see p.

send images to your e-mail address and then save the
images to your computer, or
send data via infrared or Bluetooth to another device.
