Select My presence logo to select your personal logo from the Graphics folder in the Gallery. If you select the default logo,
the logo is not published.
Select Show to to select the groups to whom you want to show your presence status.
Select Private and public and so contacts in your private list can see all your presence information (availability, status
message, and logo). Other contacts can see only your availability.
Select Private viewers and the contacts in your private list can see all your presence information (availability, status
message, and logo). Other users will not see any information.
If you select No one, no one can see your presence information.
Viewers—Select Current viewers to view all the persons who have subscribed to your presence information.
Select Private list to view the persons who are allowed to view all your presence information, including availability, status
message, and logo. You can manage your own private list. Other persons, who are not in the private list, can see only your
availability.
Select Blocked list to view all the persons whom who are blocked from viewing your presence information.
Settings—Select Show current presence in idle to show the current status indicator in standby mode.
Select Synchronise with profiles to select whether you want to update My presence message and My availability manually or
automatically by linking them to the currently active profile.

personalized status logo to a profile.
Select Connection type to select how the phone connects to the presence service when it is switched on.

Subscribed names
You can create a list of contacts whose presence status information you want to be available. You can view this information
only if it is allowed by your contacts or the network.
Ensure that the memory in use is Phone or Phone and SIM.
See Settings for contacts on page 31.
To connect to the presence service, press Menu, and select Contacts My presence Connect to 'My presence' service. You
can view the subscribed contacts even when you are not connected to the presence service, but you cannot see the presence
status information about the contact.
Adding contacts to the subscribed names
1. Press Menu, and select Contacts Subscribed names.
If you have not connected to the presence service, the phone asks if you want to connect now.
2. If your list of contacts is empty, press Add.
Otherwise, press Options, and select Subscribe new. Your contacts list is shown.
3. Select a contact from the list. If the contact has a saved ID, the contact is added to the subscribed names list.
After the contact is added to the subscribed names list, Subscription activated is shown.
Tip: To subscribe to a contact from the Contacts list, search for the contact, press Details, and press
Options. Select Request presence As subscription.
To view only the presence information, select Request presence One time only.
Viewing the subscribed names
See Searching for a contact on page 32. To view the presence information:
1. Press Menu, and select Contacts Subscribed names.
The status information of the first contact in the subscribed names list is displayed. The information that the person
wants to make available to others may include text and an icon. The
, , and icons indicate that the person is either
available, not visible to others, or not available.
indicates that the person's presence information is not available.
2. Press Options, and select from the following list of options:
Subscribe new—adds a new contact to the list of subscribed names.
Chat—starts a chat conversation.
Send message—sends a text message to the selected contact.
Send SMS e-mail—sends an e-mail to the selected contact.
Send bus. card—sends a business card to the selected contact.
Unsubscribe—removes the selected contact from the list of subscribed names.
