2 To hear all sounds again, slide the
Ringer switch to Sound Mode
On .
When you slide the Ringer switch back to
the Sound Mode On position, it restores
the previous sound settings. For example,
if the smartphone ring volume is set to the
loudest setting and you slide the Ringer
switch to Sound Mode Off, you do not hear
the smartphone ring. When you move the
Ringer switch back to Sound Mode On, the
smartphone ring volume is still set to the
loudest setting.
Selecting Sounds & Notifications
1 Press Start and select Settings.
2 On the Personal tab, select Sounds &
Notifications .
3 On the Sounds tab, set any of the
following options:
Events: Turns sounds on/off for system
warnings and error messages.
Sound
Mode Off
Sound
Mode On
TIP
If the Ringer switch is set to Sound Mode
Off, the ringer setting overrides the sound
settings and all sounds are turned off,
including any music you may be playing.
