Phone Setup Options
Shortcuts
Your phone offers you the option of assigning shortcuts to favorite
or often-used functions. Pressing the navigation key to the
assigned direction in standby mode will launch your personally
designated shortcuts.
1. Press > Settings > More... > Navigation Keys to
access the Shortcuts menu.
2. Select a navigation key and press .
3. Using the navigation key or your keypad, select a shortcut
and press . (If there are additional levels available, press
before selecting your shortcut.)
4. Press s to return to standby mode.
Call Answer Mode
Select how to answer incoming calls on your phone: whether you
want to press or to press any number key, or simply to
open the phone.
1. Press > Settings > More... > Call Setup > Call Answer.
2. Highlight an option and press .
Ⅲ Any Key to allow you to answer an incoming call by
pressing any key except ,
, side volume key, or
Ignore (right softkey).
Ⅲ Talk Key to require you to press to answer all
incoming calls.
Ⅲ Open Flip to allow you to answer an incoming call by either
flipping open the phone or by pressing .
Note
You can begin an active conversation with your party even if
the phone is closed (cover slides down) when either
Any
Key
or Talk Key options are selected. Press or flip
closed the phone to end the call.
If Open Flip is selected as a Call Answer option, flipping the
phone closed ends the call.
