Synchronising with ActiveSync

4-5 Synchronising with a PC

Changing information to synchronise

By default, ActiveSync does not automatically synchronise all Outlook information. You can use

ActiveSyncoptionstoturnsynchronisationforspecicinformationtypesonandoff:

1. On the Home screen, press Start > ActiveSync.

2. Press Menu > Options.

3. Do one or more of the following:

• Select the check box for the items you want to synchronise.

• Clear the check box for any items you do not want to synchronise.

• To customise synchronisation of a PC, select the PC name then press Menu > Settings.

• To customise synchronisation of a particular type of information, select the information type

then press Settings.

• To stop synchronising with a PC completely, select the PC name and press Menu > Delete.

NOTE E-mail can be synchronised with only one PC.
