Searching names and phone numbers
Press Names in standby mode and select Search. Key in the first letter of the name and press OK. Press
or to scroll to the name. To view the phone number that was saved with the name, press
Details or press and hold .
• If the name and phone number are saved on the SIM card, is shown on the top right of the
display. If the name and phone number are saved in the phone, is shown instead.
• To search for names and phone numbers in standby mode: Press or , key in the first letter of
the name and scroll to the name. See also Calling a phone number saved in the phone book on page
22.
Calling a service number
You can call the service numbers of your service provider if these numbers are available on your SIM
card. Press Names in standby mode and select Service nos.. Select the service number you want to call
and press Call or .
Saving names and phone numbers
Press Names in standby mode and select Add name. Key in the name (see Writing text on page 26) and
press OK. Key in the area code and phone number, and press OK.
If you want to use the phone number while abroad, press twice (for a + character) and then key in
the country code, area code (omit the leading 0, if necessary) and phone number.
Quick save: In standby mode, key in the phone number and press Save. Key in the name and
press OK.
