Menu functions
• Select Send to send the message to the desired recipient. Key in the recipient’s phone number
and press OK.
• Select Send to many to send the message to several people. Scroll to the first recipient and press
Send. Repeat this for each recipient.
• Select Sending profile to send the message using a predefined set of settings. See Message
settings on page 45.
In addition to the functions described above, pressing Options allows access to the Save and Erase
functions.
• Select Save to save the message in the Outbox menu.
• Select Erase to delete all the characters from the display.
Reading a text message (Inbox)
When you receive a text message, you hear a message alert tone and the number of new messages as
well as are shown in standby mode.
1. Press Read to view the message immediately. If you want to read the message later, press Exit or
.
To read the message later, press Menu in standby mode, and select Messages and Inbox.
2. Scroll to the message you want to read and press Read.
3. Use or to browse through the message.
4. While reading the message, you can press Options for the following functions: Erase, Reply, Chat
(see page 42), Edit, Use number, Use URLs, As reminder, Forward, Details.
