Phone book (Names)
If a phone number is already assigned to a key, you can view or change the number or erase the
assignment by first pressing Options.
To make a call using speed dialling, see Speed dialling on page 23.
Voice dialling
You can dial a phone number by saying one or more words (voice tag) attached to it. The voice tag can
be, for example, a name. Up to eight phone numbers in the phone book can have voice tags at the same
time.
Before using voice dialling, note that:
Voice tags are not language dependent. They are dependent on the speakers voice.
Voice tags are sensitive to background noise. Record them and make calls in a quiet environment.
When recording a voice tag or making a call by saying a voice tag, hold the phone in the normal position near to
your ear.
Very short names are not accepted. Use long names and avoid similar names for different numbers.
Note: You must say the name exactly as you said it when you recorded it. This may be difficult in, for
example, a noisy environment or during an emergency, so you should not rely solely upon voice dialling in
all circumstances.
Recording a voice tag
Scroll to the desired name or phone number in standby mode, and press Details and Options. Select
Add voice tag. Press Start and clearly say the word(s) you want to record as the voice tag.
Voice tags are stored in the phone and are removed when you insert another SIM card into the phone.
