Phone settings
To access this menu: Press Menu in standby mode, and select Settings and Phone settings.
Language: You can select the language for the display texts.
Cell info display: You can set the phone to indicate when it is used in a network based on Micro
Cellular Network (MCN) technology (network service). In such a network, local calls may cost less
than normal.
Welcome note: You can write a note that is shown briefly when the phone is switched on.
Network selection: You can set the phone to automatically select a cellular network that is
available in your area, or you may select the desired network from a list (Manual).
The selected network must have a roaming agreement with your home network. If no such
agreement exists, No Access will be displayed and you must select another network.
The phone stays in manual mode until the automatic mode is selected or another SIM card is
inserted into the phone.
Confirm SIM svc actions: You can set the phone to show confirmation messages (Yes) when you use
SIM card services. See also page 79.
Accessory settings
You can define the default settings that the phone uses when it is connected to a compatible
accessory. This menu is shown only if the phone is used or has been used with such an accessory.
To access this menu: Press Menu in standby mode, and select Settings and Accessory settings.
Select the accessory Headset or Handsfree. Next, select
Default profile to choose the profile that the phone uses when the accessory is connected.
