Applications (Menu 8)
In this menu you can use and manage Java applications installed in your phone.
Your phone comes with some Java applications specially designed for this Nokia phone.
Various service providers, such as Club Nokia, offer Java applications via WAP services. Before you can
use a Java application you have to download it to your phone.
Note: The phone must be switched on to use this function. Do not switch the phone on when wireless
phone use is prohibited or when it may cause interference or danger.
Launching an application
1. Press Menu in standby mode, and select Applications and Select app..
2. Scroll to the application or application set that you want to use.
3. Press Select and select Open, or press , to launch the application or to open the application
set.
If you open an application set, scroll to the desired application and launch it by pressing Select and
selecting Open, or by pressing .
If the application uses the whole display, press or to see the selection key names.
Other options available for each application or application set
WAP access: You can set the application to ask for your permission to connect to a WAP service: Ask
first, Allowed (permission is not asked), Not allowed (connection is not allowed).
Check version: You can check if a new version of the application is available for downloading from a
WAP service.
Erase to delete the application or application set from the phone.
