Select Automatic answer to set the phone to automatically answer an incoming call after one ring.
Select Lights to set the display and keypad lights on or off. This setting is only available for the
Handsfree accessory.
Keyguard settings
You can set the phone to automatically lock the keypad if the phone is not used for a certain length of
time (Automatic keyguard), or you can lock the keypad manually by using the security code of your
phone (Keyguard code).
To access this menu: Press Menu in standby mode, and select Settings and Keyguard settings.
If you select Keyguard code, key in the security code and press OK. Select On to activate the keyguard
code. If you remove the battery from your phone, you need to activate the keyguard code again.

Note: When Keyguard is on, calls may be possible to the emergency number programmed into your phone
(e.g. 112 or other official emergency number). Key in the emergency number and press . The
number is displayed only after you have keyed in its last digit.
Security settings
To access this menu: Press Menu in standby mode, and select Settings and Security settings.
Note: When security features that restrict calls are in use (call barring, closed user group and fixed
dialling), calls may be possible to certain emergency numbers in some networks (e.g. 112 or other official
emergency numbers).
PIN code request: You can set the phone to ask for the PIN code of the SIM card when the phone is
switched on. Some SIM cards do not allow this function to be turned off.
