While writing the message, you can edit the picture by pressing Options and selecting Edit picture. To
view the whole message, press Options and select Preview. To send the message, press Options and
select Send.
Downloading picture messages
You can fetch (’download’) new preset picture messages from the WAP service of Club Nokia. This
function is only included if this WAP service is available in your country.
Press Menu in standby mode, and select Messages and Download picture message.
If the WAP connection fails and an error message such as Check service settings is displayed, change
the active set of connection settings in the Services menu and enter this menu to try the connection
again. See also Downloads (Menu 5) on page 57 and WAP services (Services - Menu 10) on page 69.
Templates
You can view, edit or erase the preset messages (’templates’) that are available for writing messages.
Press Menu in standby mode, and select Messages and Templates. Scroll to the template you want to
use and press Read. To edit or erase the template, press Options and select the desired function.
When editing a template, pressing Options allows access to a further set of functions, including Send
and Save.
If you want to create a template from scratch, select one of the empty templates at the end of the
template list.
Smileys
You can create smileys such as ’:-)’ that you can use when writing or replying to a message.
