When writing a message, you can press Options and select
Chat name to edit your nickname
Chat history to view the previous messages. Messages that you sent are indicated by "<" and
your nickname. Messages that you received are indicated by ">" and the senders nickname.
Picture messages
You can send and receive text messages that contain pictures (network service).
For downloading pictures from WAP pages, see View image in Browsing the pages of a WAP service on
page 73.
Note: This function can be used only if it is supported by your network operator or service provider. Only
phones that offer picture message features can receive and display picture messages.
Each picture message is made up of several text messages. Therefore, sending one picture message
may cost more than one text message.
Since picture messages are saved in the phone, you cannot view them if you use the SIM card with
another phone.
When you receive a picture message
To view the message immediately, press View. You can save the message in the Picture messages menu
by pressing Save or delete it by pressing Back and Exit.
Sending a picture message
Press Menu in standby mode, and select Messages and Picture messages. Scroll to a preset picture
message that you want to edit and press View. Press Options, select Edit text and write the message.
