Message validity to select the amount of time that your messages are stored at the message centre
(network service).
Rename sending profile to change the name of the sending profile.
Common
The settings in this submenu apply to all text messages that you send, irrespective of the chosen
sending profile.
Select Delivery reports to request the network to send delivery reports on your messages (network
service).
Select Reply via same centre to allow the recipient of your message to send you a reply via your
message centre (network service).
Select Character support and then Unicode if you want to send messages that contain Russian
characters or special characters, such as ñ, used in Romance and Slavic languages. The receiving
phone has to be able to display Unicode characters and your network has to support this function.
Info service
This network service allows you to receive messages on various topics, such as traffic conditions, from
the network. For details, contact your service provider.
Press Menu in standby mode, and select Messages and Info service.
Select On to receive messages on the active topics.
Select Topic index to set the phone to receive a list of available topics from the network.
Select Topics to mark the topics as active or inactive, add a new topic to the list, or edit or erase the
existing topics.
