right of the ’/’ character).
By pressing Options you can access the following functions that help you to
write the message: Use template (see page 51), Insert smiley, Insert word,
Insert number, Insert symbol, Dictionary (see page 29).
3. When the message is complete, press Options for the following functions that
you can use for sending the message: Send, Send to many or Sending profile.
• Select Send to send the message to the desired recipient. Key in the
recipient’s phone number and press OK.
• Select Send to many to send the message to several people. Scroll to the
first recipient and press OK. Repeat this for each recipient.
• Select Sending profile to send the message using a predefined set of
settings. See Message settings on page 52.
In addition to the functions described above, pressing Options allows access to
the Save and Delete functions.
• Select Save to save the message in the Outbox menu.
• Select Delete to delete all the characters from the display.
Reading a text message (Inbox)
When you receive a text message, you hear a message alert tone and the number
of new messages as well as are shown in standby mode.
1. Press Read to view the message immediately. If you want to read the message
later, press Exit or .
