• Select Use number to copy a phone number from the message to standby mode for calling or
saving.
• Select Use URLs to copy a URL (Unique Resource Locator) address from the message to the
bookmark list in the Services menu, see page 69.
• Select As reminder to add the message as a new reminder to the Reminders menu.
Viewing messages you have saved (Outbox)
In the Outbox menu, you can view the messages that you have saved in the Write message menu. If you
press Options, you can use the same functions as in the Inbox menu, except for Reply, Chat and
Details.
Chat
Chat is a fast way to have a conversation using text messages.
Note that the messages received during a chat are not saved in the Inbox menu.
1. Press Menu in standby mode, and select Messages and Chat. Or: When reading a text message,
press Options and select Chat.
2. If you started the chat from standby mode, key in the other person’s phone number or search for it
in the phone book, and press OK.
3. Key in the nickname you want to use for the chat (see Writing text on page 26), and press OK.
4. Write your message and send it by pressing Options and selecting Send.
5. The reply from the other person is shown above the message you sent. To reply to the message,
press OK, write your message and send it by pressing Options and selecting Send.
