Changing Your Settings 138
1.
From the
Security
menu, select
Erase All Contacts
. You are
prompted to confirm erasure of all Contacts entries.
Note:
This procedure does not delete your Photo Gallery. The Photo Gallery
needs to be deleted separately.
2. To erase all entries, press
Yes
. To keep the current entries
and return to the
Security
sub-menu, press
No
.
Restrictions
Restrictions lets you restrict the use of your phone for outgoing
calls and messages, incoming calls and messages, and incoming
and outgoing data.
1. From the
Security
menu, select
Restrictions
. The following
options appear in the display:
Calls
— Sets restrictions on voice calls.
•SMS Messages
— Sets restrictions on Text messages.
MMS Messages
— Sets restrictions on Picture/Video messages.
•Data
— Sets restrictions on incoming and outgoing data.
2. When you select
Calls
/
SMS Messages
/
MMS Messages
,
the following options appear in the display:
•Incoming
— Set restrictions on receiving calls or messages.
Outgoing
— Set restrictions on originating calls or messages.
3. When you select
Data
(from the
Restrictions
menu) or
Incoming
/
Outgoing
(from the
Calls
/
SMS Messages
/
MMS
Messages
menu), the following options appear in the
display:
Allow All
— Removes selected restrictions.
Allow None
— Blocks selected calls, messages, or data.
Allow Contacts
— Calls only — When set to
On
, restricts all
access to your Contacts list and restricts all incoming and outgoing
calls except those to and from Contacts.
4. Select the preferred setting(s) and press
OK
to save it
(them).
NAM Selection
The Network menu allows you to select
NAM
(Number
Assignment Module) settings for your phone. You can store two
NAM
settings, which are essentially telephone numbers, for your
phone.
1. From the
Phone Settings
menu, select
NAM Selection
.
The following options appear in the display:
•NAM1
— Your service contract has one phone line.
•NAM2
— Your service contract has two phone lines.
2. Select the desired NAM setting. The phone powers itself
off and back on.
