About Bluetooth
Bluetooth is a short-range communications technology
that allows you to connect wirelessly to a number of
Bluetooth devices, such as headsets and hands-free
car kits, and Bluetooth-enabled handhelds, computers,
printers, and wireless phones. The Bluetooth
communication range is usually up to approximately
30 feet.
Turning Bluetooth On and Off
By default, your device’s Bluetooth feature is turned off.
Making your device Bluetooth-visible makes it
“discoverable” by other in-range Bluetooth devices.
Bluetooth management is done via the Wireless
Manager.
To access the Wireless Manager:
Press .
To turn Bluetooth on:
1. From the Wireless Manager, touch the Bluetooth field
to enable the feature.
When Bluetooth is inactive, the Bluetooth field
displays the icon.
When Bluetooth is active, the icon is
displayed on both this field and on the screen.
2. Press Done (left softkey) to exit and return to the
Today screen.
