Removing the Battery
1. Make sure the power is off so that you don’t lose
any stored numbers or messages.
2. Remove the battery cover.
3. Grasp the bottom left and right sides of the battery
and lift it out of the compartment.
Reviewing the Battery Charge Level
1. Press > Settings > Power.
2. Touch the Battery tab.
This tab indicates the current charge state of the
internal battery.
Charging the Battery
Keeping track of your battery’s charge is important. If
your battery level becomes too low, your device
automatically turns off, and you will lose any
information you were just working on.
Always use a Sprint-approved or Samsung-approved
desktop charger, travel charger, or vehicle power
adapter to charge your battery.
Plug the flat end of the charger into the device’s
charger/accessory jack and the other end into an
electrical outlet.
WARNING
Do not handle a damaged or leaking Li-Ion
battery as you can be burned.
Tip
It is recommended that you completely charge your
battery first before using your device. This guarantees
you begin using your device with a fully charged
battery.
