Manyofyourphone’sapplications—suchasGmail,GoogleHangouts,andtheGooglePlayStore—
requireaGoogleAccount.Tousetheseapplications,youmustsetupyourGoogleAccountonyour
phone.SettingupyouraccountonyourphonesyncsyourphoneandyouronlineGoogleAccount.
Create a Google Account
IfyoudonotalreadyhaveaGoogleAccount,youcancreateoneonlineoronyourphone.
Note:YoucanalsocreateandsignintoyourGoogle/Gmailaccountthroughyourphone’sSetup
application.
Note:AlthoughyouneedaGmailaccounttousecertainfeaturesofyourphone,suchasGoogle
Play,youdonotneedtouseGmailasthedefaultaccountforyourphone.
CreateaGoogleAccountOnline
1. Fromacomputer,launchaWebbrowserandnavigatetogoogle.com.
2. Followtheon-screenpromptstocreateyourfreeaccount.

Press andtouch >Settings> Accountstab.
2. TouchAdd account>Google > New.
3. Followtheon-screenpromptstocreateyourfreeaccount.
Sign in to Your Google Account
IfyouhaveaGoogleAccountbuthavenotyetsignedinwithyourphone,followtheseinstructionsto
signintoyourGoogleAccount.
