2.12 Saving, Loading System Settings
System settings (as well as messages) may be saved to a selected folder and
loaded onto the terminal unit. This is useful for having backup copies of system
settings.
2.12.1 Saving system settings
1. Press the [F8] key to show the Setup menu, then press the [8] key to open
the Configuration menu.
2. Press the [6] key to choose Save/Load.

4. Key in the numeric corresponding to the item you want to save.
ALL: All contents (Distress Alert Setup)

E-Mail/SMS Service List: E-mail service/SMS service list
Other: Other than Distress Alert Setup menu, Station List, LES List, E-mail
service/SMS service list.

[Destination Folder] dialogue box (Windows XP)
5. Select your destination folder and click [OK]. The “OK to save?” dialogue
box appears.
6. Select [YES] and click, or press the [Enter] key, to save chosen system
setting to the selected folder.
