Calling in Lock Mode
Even if the screen is locked, you will still be able to place emergency calls.

Silence Your Device from the Lock Screen
If you are in a place where your device's sounds may disturb others, you can quickly silence your device
from the lock screen.

Drag to the left. To turn the phone sounds back on, drag to the left.
