Navigating the Sprint PCS Wireless Web
The browser application is designed to display web
information in a compact format. As described earlier, the
mobile web does not display many graphics and relies on text
based web information to decrease download time. To
navigate the information displayed on the screen, the browser
has different icons displayed on the bottom row of the screen.
These icons help perform basic navigation functions
associated with the browser.
They are:
- Exits the browser
- Displays the browser Main menu.
- Displays the Web Alerts list.
- Returns to the Home page.
- Opens the Bookmark list.
- Displays the open URL dialog box.
- Cancels the connection. This icon is only displayed
while you are connected to the Internet.
Navigating Tips
ᮣ A solid line under text indicates a link. Tap the text to open
the link.
ᮣ Websites cannot be tagged private. The browser does not
support private records.
ᮣ Web addresses cannot be beamed to another IR device.
