60 Making and Answering Calls
Making Calls
Your phone offers many different ways to make calls,
including Sprint PCS Voice Command (page 88),
Speed Dialing (page 68) and using Missed Calls(page 72).
To make a call using the dialer on the screen:
1. Press and hold for 2-3 seconds to turn the Sprint PCS
Phone™ ON.
2. Remove the stylus from the back of the phone.
3. Enter a phone number by tapping the desired numbers.
4. Tap . (To make calls when you are roaming and
Call Guard is enabled, dial the number and tap
.
Press
to accept the roaming rates and complete the
call.)
5. When you’re finished, tap .
Tip:
To redial your last
outgoing phone number,
tap
twice.
Correcting the number
If you type a number incorrectly, you can erase the number
one digit at a time, or simply just erase the whole number and
start over. To erase the number one digit at a time:
1. If you tap when dialing a number, the last digit
entered is erased.
To erase the entire number:
2. If you tap and hold when dialing a number, the
phone will beep and the entire number is erased.
