82 Making and Answering Calls
Phone Prefs
1. From the Application main menu, tap .
2. “All” should be selected, tap the Prefs icon.
3. Tap the drop down list located in the upper right corner.
Select “Phone Prefs”.
The following preferences are available in Phone Prefs:
ᮣ Sounds - Displays the sound settings for the ringer of the
phone.
ᮣ Display - This setting affects what is displayed on the
phone main screen.
ᮣ Setup - Miscellaneous phone options.
ᮣ DataSvc - Sets the incoming call mode and ringer sound.
ᮣ Roaming - Configures the roaming options of the phone.
ᮣ Main Prefs - Returns the drop down list to the handheld
computer preferences.
Sounds
1. From the Application main menu, tap .
2. “All” should be selected, tap the Prefs icon.
3. Tap the drop down menu located in the upper right corner
and select “Phone Prefs”
4. Tap the drop down menu again and select Sounds.
This option allows you to configure the Volume, Type, and
Tone preferences of your phone. The available options are:
ᮣ Volume - This option sets the volume for the Ringer,
Voice, and Key Tone.
ᮣ Ty pe - This option allows you to attach a specific ringer to
different types of incoming calls and messages. The
available choices are:
ᮣ With Caller ID
ᮣ No Caller ID
ᮣ Voicemail
ᮣ Page
