Lock and Wallpaper
From this menu you can change the wallpaper, set a time-out
screen that locks the phone after a specific amount of time, and
set up the phone to require a 4-digit password to unlock the
phone.
1. From the Home screen, touch ➔
Settings
➔
system
➔
lock + wallpaper
.
2. Touch
change wallpaper
, and then choose a picture from
albums
,
date
, or
favorites
.
3. Touch and drag the
Show artist when playing music
slider
to the right to turn the option
On
.
4. Touch the
Screen times out after
field and select a screen
time-out time. Selections are: 30 seconds, 1 minute, 3
minutes, or 5 minutes.
5. Touch and drag the
Password
slider to the right to turn the
password requirement mode
On
.
6. Touch the
New password
field and enter a 4-digit
password.
7. Touch the
Confirm password
field and re enter the 4-digit
password and touch
done
.
8. After you create a password, touch
change password
to
create a new password.
9. After you create a password, touch the
Require a password
after
field to set how often the password is required.
Options are: each time, 30 seconds, or 1, 3, 5, 15, or 30
minutes.
Note:
To remove the password requirement, touch and drag the
Password
slider to the left to turn the password requirement mode
Off
and enter
the password.
Location
The Location settings allow you to activate location so other
applications (such as Maps) can access your location
information.
