Dialing a Number from the SIM Card using the Location Number
Copy to FDN Contacts: allows you to copy the restricted phone number list to
the FDN section of the SIM card.
Print via Bluetooth: allows you send the selected contact entry information to a
Bluetooth compatible printer.
7. To return to the Idle screen, press the key.
Dialing a Number from the SIM Card using the Location
Number
1. In Idle mode, enter the location number for the phone number you want to
dial and press the key.
All of the contacts saved on the SIM display, with the contact entry
selected highlighted.
2. Press the Up or Down Navigation key to find other numbers on the list.
3. Press the Call soft key, the key, or the key when you have
selected the number you want to call.
Speed Dial List
Note: All contacts to be assigned to a speed dial number must already exist in the Address Book.
You can assign up to 8-speed dial entries on the Speed Dial List and then dial them
easily whenever you want, simply by pressing the associated numeric key.
In Idle mode, to speed dial the numbers assigned to keys 2 to 9, press and hold the
appropriate key.
You can set up Speed Dial entries several ways: by going to a previously entered
contact in the Address Book and assign them a Speed Dial number; by going to the
Recent Calls and selecting the Speed Dial List option; or by going to Settings >
Set Applications > Address Book Settings > Speed Dial.
Setting Up Speed Dial Entries
1. From the Idle Screen, press Menu soft key. Use the navigation keys to
highlight Address Book and press Select soft key.
2. Highlight an entry by using the navigation keys.
3. Press the Select soft key or the key and select the Assign Speed Dial
option.
4. Select the key to which you wish to assign the speed-dial number (from
the 2 to 9 keys), and press the Select soft key or the key.
