Note: Memory location 1 is reserved for your Voice mail server number.
You may also set up a Speed Dial entry by accessing the Settings menu.
1. From the Idle Screen, press Menu soft key. Use the navigation keys to
highlight Settings and press Select soft key.
2. Use the navigation keys to highlight Set Applications and press the Select
soft key or the key.
3. Use the navigation keys to highlight Address Book Settings and press the
Select soft key or the key.
4. Select the Speed Dial option and press the Select soft key or the key.
5. Select the speed-dial key (from the 2 to 9 keys) to which you wish to
assign a contact, and press the Select soft key or the key. The phone
opens the Address Book and allows you to select a previously added
contact.
6. Use the navigation keys to select the desired contact, and press the Select
soft key or the key. The contact is assigned to that Speed Dial number.
Assigning a Speed Dial number using the Speed Dial List under Recent Calls is done
using much the same procedure as Settings. Access the Speed Dial List, select the
speed dial number, and press the Select soft key or the key. The Address Book
list displays and you may select from a previously entered contact.
Changing a Contact or Number Assigned to a Key
1. From the Idle Screen, press Menu. Use the navigation keys to highlight
Address Book and press Select soft key or the key.
2. Use the navigation keys to highlight the contact to be assigned to a speed
dial number, and press the Options soft key.
3. Highlight Assign Speed Dial by using the navigation keys, and press the
Select soft key or the key.
The Speed Dial screen displays, with an empty slot selected (if there is an
empty slot available; otherwise the first available slot is highlighted).
4. Use the navigation keys to highlight the speed dial number where you want
to replace the contact.
The “Change Number” confirmation appears.
5. Press the Yes soft key.
The “Speed Dial Assigned” message appears.
