Your phone’s Voice Services let you place calls using your voice,
store voice reminders, and record memos right on your phone.
This section includes easy-to-follow instructions on
using automatic speech recognition and managing
voice memos.
Using Automatic Speech
Recognition (ASR)
ASR (automatic speech recognition) software allows
you to say commands to perform common functions
supported by your phone. There is no voice training
required to use the speech recognition feature. You
simply say the predesignated command displayed on
your screen in a normal tone of voice to perform the
desired function.
Launching ASR
Configure how to launch ASR.
1. While in standby mode, select Main Menu and press
.
2. Press Tools > Voice Services.
3. Press Settings (left softkey) > Voice Launch.
4. Select Talk Key or Talk Key & Slide Up.
