Using Phone Features
2.1 Setting the Ring Tone
Before you start receiving phone calls, you can first set your desired ring tone for
incoming calls.
To select a ring tone
On the Home screen, scroll down to the Settings panel.
Scroll right until you see Ringtone and then press the TRACKBALL.
On the Sounds screen, select a ringtone from the Ring tone list and then
select Done.
If you select Vibrate, the Vibrate icon ( )
will
appear in the title bar, and the phone
will only vibrate when you receive a call. Selecting None from the Ring tone list
mutes the phone.

for new text messages or new e-mail, see “Choosing how to be notified about events
or actions” in Chapter 4.
