6.6 Instant Messaging
T-Mobile Instant Messaging provides you with access to popular instant
messaging (IM) communities, including AOL® Instant Messenger (AIM®), Google
Talk™, Windows Live™ Messenger, MySpace®, and Yahoo!® Messenger. Instant
Messaging enables you to sign in to two or more communities at the same time.
Select Start > Instant Messaging.
Scroll left/right and select the TRACKBALL
to select a community. Select Yes to enable
the community when prompted.
Enter the required sign-in information for
the selected community, such as user name
or password, and then select Sign In.
Note The information required to sign in will
vary depending on the instant messaging
community you are accessing.

Selected communities are displayed as tabs
on the screen.
Note You can add or remove communites later
by selecting Options > Select Services
and then selecting or clearing the
community's check box.
Scroll left/right to select a community’s tab.
You can sign into two or more communities
simultaneously.

The instant messaging screen for your selected community will then be displayed,
and you can start chatting online with your friends or family.
For more information on using Instant Messaging, select Options > Help and then
choose a help topic.
Note Separate charges apply to send/receive instant messages.
