It is possible to enter correction for linear error
correction. Simple linear correction of the
machine error is made, improving the
positioning accuracy. The error correction data
to be set is the data that has been determined
by converting errors of “measured value - true
value” to those per one meter and is available
within the range of 999.9 in increment of
0.1µm.
NOTE In order to perform linear error
correction, it is necessary to set the
linear error correction display (setup
data: 1) using parameter 12 described
in section 4.2.2. Parameter 31 cannot
be entered without setting the linear
error correction display.
