4.3.6 Display contents and parameters in the addition mode
The display conditions of the Y-axis where the summed value (Y + Z) is displayed are as
follows, depending on the parameter setup for the Y- and Z-axis.
Error compensation (Parameters 12, 31)
If the addition mode is set, do not use the error compensation function.
Lower digit blank-out (Parameter 41)
The erasure depends on the Y-axis setup for the number of lower digits to be blanked out.
Count direction (Parameter 50)
Processed according to the setup of each axis.
Resolution (Parameter 91)
The output resolution depends on the Y-axis setup.
Parameter consistency in the addition mode
• If the mode has been set, the parameter check function operates to prevent a
miscount.
• If the following parameters are not consistent with each other, the buzzer sounds twice
if parameter setting mode termination is attempted (by pressing the Cancel key), and
the counter will not exit the parameter setting mode.
• If the addition mode was set, enter the same parameter data for the Y- and Z-axis of
Parameter 40 (Display mode) and Parameter 91 (Round-off)
