Note:
To save any changes made to a profile, highlight the desired Profile,
and press the Select soft key. The phone displays a verification of
profile change. Press the OK soft key to verify change.
Display
In this menu, you can change various settings for the display or
backlight.
1. In Idle mode, press Menu Settings Display and
press the Select soft key or the key.
The following options are available:
Wallpaper
: allows you to select Pictures or None. None leaves the
wallpaper blank. Press the
Edit
soft key, and scroll through the
graphics in your Graphics folder (on the Phone or on an External
Storage Card) to select your wallpaper. Press the
Select
soft key or
the key to confirm the selection.
•My Theme
: allows you to select from three different themes, or you
can create your own. Make a selection and press the
Select
soft
key or the key. For more information, see
“Creating a
Custom Theme”
on page 129.
Menu Style
:
allows you to select whether the phone’s menus are
presented in either a Grid Menu style or List Menu style. Make a
selection and press the
Select
soft key or the key.
Light Settings
:
Note:
Light settings can affect the length of time before battery recharge is
necessary.
Brightness
: allows you to adjust the display brightness for the LCD to
see it better in different lighting conditions. Press the Left or Right
Navigation keys to adjust the brightness. Press the
Save
soft key or the
key to confirm your selection.
Backlight Time
:
allows you to select the amount of time for the
backlight to remain on and the length of time for the actual dimming to
occur. Highlight the
On
field and press the key. Then select from
10 Seconds, 30 Seconds, 1 Minute, 3 Minutes, or 10 Minutes.
Highlight
Dim
and press the key. Choose from Off, 5 Seconds,
The Driving profile keeps the speaker active. In this case,
the speaker is active and launches the currently selected
ringtone or melody when the associated notification
activates.
The Outdoor profile keeps the speaker active, the volume
settings are raised to their highest levels, any currently
active ringtones or melodies are activated, and the
phone’s vibrate feature activates. This icon is
accompanied on screen by the Vibrate/Audio icon. You
may also set the phone to automatically reply to a voice
call or send an automated reply to an incoming text
message.
