39 Messaging
Reject Adv.: allows you to reject multimedia messages that are
labeled as advertising (Adv.)
Number/Email: allows you to reject multimedia messages sent from a
specific phone number (MIN) or Email address.
Save to Outbox: allows you to adjust whether sent messages are saved in your
Outbox. Your options are:
Auto Save: automatically saves a copy of the outgoing message in the filed
folder.
Prompt: prompts you to save a copy of the outgoing message.
Do not Save: does not save a copy of the outgoing message.
Auto Delete Inbox: allows you to indicate whether read messages are
automatically deleted from your Inbox.
Default Entry Mode: the Entry Method allows you to set the default character
input method for new text messages. You can select between:
T9 Word: is a predictive text entry mode.
Alpha: is the standard keypad text entry mode.
Number: is the standard numeric entry mode.
Quick Text: Quick Text messages are used to enter common responses to
questions. A Quick Text can be selected and automatically entered into the
message. Quick Text can also be customized to whatever you want by editing the
9 pre-set messages already stored in your phone.
To edit a Quick Text message, highlight the desired Quick Text message and
press . Edit the message and press the left soft key for Done when
finished.
Auto Scrolling: The scroll timer allows you to set the length of time a message
takes to scroll across the screen. Options are Off, 3 Seconds, 5 Seconds or 10
Seconds.
Message Reminder: This option allows you to configure how often you are
notified of new text messages. Options are Off, Once, or Every 2 min.
Alert on call: This option allows you to indicate whether your phone alerts you
to a new message during a phone call.
