Display
You can personalize your phone display with a number of settings.
Display Light
You can set the display light to automatic, off or on. In automatic
mode, the display light switches off a few seconds after you have
pressed the last key.
To set the display light
1. Scroll to Settings,
YES, Display, YES, Light, YES.
2. Select a display light setting and press
YES.
Sleeping Display
To save battery power, you can turn on the sleeping display. The text
in standby mode is reduced to one row at the bottom of the display a
few minutes after you have pressed the last key.
To turn the sleeping display on or off
1. Scroll to Settings,
YES, Display, YES, Display sleep, YES.
2. Select On or Off and press
YES.
Contrast Setting
You can change the display’s contrast.
To set the display contrast
1. Scroll to Settings,
YES, Display, YES, Contrast, YES.
2. Use or to increase or decrease the contrast.
3. Press
YES to save the setting.
Greeting Text
When you turn on your phone, a text or an image appear as a greeting
in the display. You can write your own greeting instead.
To write a new greeting
1. Scroll to Settings,
YES, Display, YES, User greeting, YES.
2. Select Custom and press
YES.
3. Write your new greeting.
4. Press
YES to confirm your setting.
To set the standard greeting
1. Scroll to Settings,
YES, Display, YES, User greeting, YES.
2. Select Standard and press
YES.
