The administrator’s role in Perceive
As an administrator, you are responsible for making sure data is available for
analysts (to build views) and consumers (to access those views). Administrators can
group views as they like and customize the look and feel of Perceive.
The
Administration tab in the Perceive user interface lets you configure and customize
the data access structure, computer grouping, and graphical layout of Perceive,
giving you more power to present the application in a way that affords the greatest
benefit to your company, and the easiest interface for your consumers to work with.
This chapter details how administrators can play a valuable role in collaborative
performance assurance by managing, grouping, and customizing the Perceive
experience for their consumers.
