Computer views and group views
Perceive is view-driven, meaning the actions you perform (and the resultant display)
are based on whether you select computer views or group views from the left pane of the
Getting Started page.
Perceive includes pre-defined categories of single computer views (the
Computer
Views
view category) and group views (the Group Views view category). Computer
views display multiple charts for a single computer. Group views display one or two
charts for each computer in a group.
To view a single computer view, click
Computer Views and then click a view
contained within that category. For example, clicking
Computer Views expands the
category to include the following views:
■ System Overview
■ Processor
■ Memory
■ Network
■ Disk
■ Workloads
Figure 26 shows the resulting display after a user selects a Memory view for the
computer sundev9.
TIP
You can scroll through computers or computers in a selected group by clicking the up and
down arrows on your keyboard. The display refreshes after each group or computer is
selected. Groups and computers are displayed in alphabetical order.
