Map Page Options Menu
The Options Menu on the Map Page provides access to functions and features of the Map Page, as
well as layout options for the page. The data window, located at the right side of the display, provides a
user-selectable layout of various types of useful data. Each data fi eld may be confi gured to display any
one of several data options. The data window layout may also be customized to change the actual size of
the data displayed.
To display the Map Page Options Menu:
1. Press PAGE repeatedly until the Map Page is displayed.
2. Press
MENU.
The available options described below. In the sections following, some options, such as Measure Dis-
tance, also have instructions detailing how to use the option. The Options Menu varies slightly between
the Marine Mode and Automotive Mode.
Declutter On/Off – toggles between showing spot soundings and map outlines for easier viewing.
Measure Distance – allows you to measure the bearing/distance between two points on the map.
Show/Hide Heading Line – (Marine Mode only) toggles between showing or hiding the Heading Line,
which projects from the current position (triangle vehicle icon) to show your current heading.
Show/Hide Directions – ( Automotive Mode only) toggles between showing or hiding the directions
fi eld at the top of the Map Page display. Hiding the directions enables more of the map to be visible.
Set Up Map – jumps to the Map Setup Menu, allowing you to confi gure the map display to your prefer-
ences, including map detail, map orientation, automatic zoom, and various map items and points. For
detailed information on the Map Setup Menu, refer to the “Map Page Setup Menu” section later in this
manual.
Set Up Page Layout – allows you to choose the size of text and number of data fi elds.
