Viewing the Message Tab
The Message Tab of the Main Menu displays a list of messages generated by your GPSMAP 276C.
Use the ARROW KEYPAD to scroll the entire list of messages on the ‘Log’ tab. You can also use the ‘Log
Filter’ tab to fi lter the messages to only display a certain kind of message.
To view the messages:
1. Press MENU twice to open the Main Menu.
2. Highlight ‘Message’ from the vertical list of tabs using the
ARROW KEYPAD.
3. Use the
ARROW KEYPAD to highlight the desired message. Press ENTER/MARK to view detailed
information about that message.
To show/hide messages using the Log Filter:
1. Open the Message Tab. Use the ARROW KEYPAD to highlight the ‘Log Filter’ tab. By default all
messages are displayed.
2. Use the
ARROW KEYPAD to highlight the message you want to hide and press ENTER/MARK.
3. The message name then appears in the ‘Hide’ window. Highlight the message again and press
ENTER/MARK to show it again.
