To set up AOL/AIM Mail, Yahoo!Mail, or Gmail
Tap AOL/AIM Mail, Yahoo! Mail, or Gmail, and then simply enter your e-mail
address and password.
To set up Windows Live Mail
Tap Windows Live Mail, and then sign in using your Windows Live ID. See Chapter
8 for details.
To set up a POP3 or IMAP4 e-mail account
If you have an e-mail account from an ISP or other web-based accounts such as
Comcast or Earthlink, add them as POP3 or IMAP4 accounts on your device.
1. On the Select Account screen, tap Other.
2. Enter your e-mail address.
After you enter the @ symbol, a menu will be
displayed listing some of the most popular
e-mail providers. You can select your e-mail
provider if you see it in the menu.
3. Enter your password, and then tap Next.
4. If the e-mail provider settings are found
preconfigured on your device, a message will
be shown, informing that the setup process
is complete and your e-mail messages will be
downloaded to your device. Tap Finish.
If your e-mail provider is not found on your device, continue with these steps:
1. Enter settings such as the incoming and outgoing server names. Ask from
your provider about these settings, enter them, and then tap Next.
2. Choose whether your e-mail account is a POP3 or IMAP4 account and enter
an account display name.
3. Tap Menu > Advanced Settings to customize more settings.
4. Tap Finish.
