Resetting the Phone - Power On
1. On the
Home
screen
, select
Start
➔
More
➔
Settings
➔
Security
➔
Master Clear
and press the key.
2. Press the
Yes
soft key to confirm. The phone resets and
reboots itself.
Resetting the Phone - Power Off
1. While the phone is off, power on the phone while holding
the key.
2. The Format Menu displays.
3. Press one of the following keys:
• 1 - Master Clear
. This option erases user storage.
• 2 - Master Reset
. This option erases the registry.
•0 - Exit
. This option exits the Format Menu without resetting the
phone.
Changing the Reset Password
You can change the reset password to prevent the phone from
being reset by unauthorized people.
1. On the
Home
screen
, select
Start
➔
More
➔
Settings
➔
Security
➔
Change Reset Password
and press the key.
2. Enter the old password, then a new password, and re-
enter the new one for confirmation.
3. Press the
Done
soft key.
