6Push the card holder towards the
phone.
7Lock the holder by sliding the catch
gently towards the base of the phone
until you hear a click. Make sure that
the holder is firmly engaged
8Place the battery onto the back of the
phone as shown below. Slide the bat-
tery up the body of the phone until the
catch engages (a click is heard).
Charging a Battery
Once placed in the phone, the battery is
ready for charging.

OTE:
• Use only batteries and chargers
approved by the phone manufactur-
er.
• In some vehicles, the ignition must
be on in order to charge the phone
with the cigarette lighter charger.
To charge the battery by using the
Travel Charger ACP-7:
1Connect the plug from the charger into
the bottom of the phone.
2Connect the charger to an AC wall out-
let.
The indicator bar at the right of the dis-
play starts rolling and the text Charg-
ing is briefly displayed (when the phone
is on).
• If the battery is totally empty, it may
take a few minutes before the
charging indication appears on the
display.
• The charging time depends on the
charger and battery used. For exam-
ple, charging a BLS-2 battery takes
about 4 hours.
