6. Menu Functions
The phone offers an extensive range of
functions which allow you to tailor the
phone to your needs.
These functions are arranged in menus
and submenus.
Accessing the Menu
Functions
To enter a particular menu function, either
scroll through the functions until the de-
sired one appears, or use an appropriate
shortcut.
By scrolling
1With the display clear, press Menu to
enter the menu facility.
Or, during a call: Press Options,
scroll with or to Menu, press
Select.
2At the main menu level, press or
to reach the desired menu, such as
Settings, and press Select to
enter it.
The sliding bar to the right shows the
menu’s position in respect to other
menus at the same menu level.
3If the menu contains submenus (such
as Phone settings), reach the one
you want with or and press Se-
lect.
If the submenu contains a further set
of submenus, repeat this step.
By shortcut
Each menu, submenu and setting option is
provided with a shortcut number.
This number, which may consist of several
digits separated by a dash (e.g. 4-3-3), is
shown at the top right of the display.
1With the display clear, press Menu to
enter the menu facility.
2Within 3 seconds, key in the first digit
of the shortcut number. Repeat this for
each digit of the shortcut number.

XAMPLE
To set the “Anykey answer” function on:
With the display clear, press Menu
(for Settings) (for Call set-
tings) (for Anykey answer)
(for On).
Exiting from the Menu
Functions
To exit from the menu facility while at the
main menu level, press Exit.
To return from a submenu to the previous
menu level, press Back.
To exit from the menu facility while in any
menu or submenu, press or press and
hold Back.
NOTE: Pressing during a call ends the
active call.
