Automatic redial (Menu 4-3-2)
When this function is set on, your phone
will make up to ten attempts to connect
with a phone number after an unsuccess-
ful call attempt.
Pressing ends the call attempts.
1Once in the Call settings sub-
menu, scroll with or to Auto-
matic redial and press Select.
2Scroll to On or Off and press OK.
Speed dialling (Menu 4-3-3)
When this function is set on, you can call
a phone number assigned to a speed dial-
ling key (any of to ) by pressing
and holding the corresponding number
key.
1Once in the Call settings sub-
menu, scroll with or to Speed
dialling and press Select.
2Scroll to On or Off and press OK.

Call waiting options
(Menu 4-3-4)
When this network service is activated,
the network will notify you of a new in-
coming call while you have a call in
progress.
1Once in the Call settings sub-
menu, scroll with or to Call
waiting options and press Se-
lect.
2Scroll to one of the following options
and press OK: Activate, Cancel,
Status (shows call types for which
call waiting is active).
Own number sending
(Menu 4-3-5)
You can set your phone number to be dis-
played to or hidden from the called party.
This network service is available only in
digital networks which allow you to view
a caller's phone number.
When you change the SIM card, Preset
is automatically selected.
For details, contact your service provider.
1Once in the Call settings sub-
menu, scroll with or to Own
number sending and press Se-
lect.
2Scroll to Preset, On, or Off, and
press OK.
Preset resets the phone to the de-
fault setting (On or Off) that you have
agreed upon with your service provider.
Phone settings (Menu 4-4)
To enter this submenu:
• Once in the Settings menu, scroll
with or to Phone settings
and press Select.
Language (Menu 4-4-1)
You can select the language in which the
display texts are shown.
This setting also affects the time and date
formats of the following functions: Alarm
