Security level (Menu 4-5-5)
The phone is supplied with a 5-digit secu-
rity code which allows you to protect the
phone against unauthorised use.

OTE: When you change this setting, all
automatically registered phone numbers
are erased. See also ”Call register (Menu
2)” on page 37.
1Once in the Security settings
submenu, scroll with or to Se-
curity level and press Select.
2Key in the security code and press OK.
3Scroll to one of the following options
and press OK:
None
The security code is not required when
the phone is switched on or when you
select the internal Phone book.
Memory
The security code is required to select
the internal Phone book or to use any
copy functions in Phone book.
Phone
The security code is required when
switching on the phone with a SIM
card which is not one of the five most
recently used cards.
Change access codes (Menu 4-5-6)
You can change Security code, PIN code,
PIN2 code and Barring password.
1Once in the Security settings
submenu, scroll with or to
Change access codes and press
Select.
2Scroll to the desired code and press
Select.
3Key in the current code and press OK.
4Key in the new code and press OK.
5Key in the new code again and press
OK.

OTE: The access codes may only include
characters 0 to 9. To change the PIN code,
the PIN code request must be turned on
within the “PIN code request” function
(Menu 4-5-1).
Restore factory settings
(Menu 4-6)
Within this submenu you can return the
menu functions to their factory settings.
Note that this function has no effect on
Phone book functions.
1Once in the Settings menu, scroll
with or to Restore factory
settings and press Select.
2Key in the security code and press OK.
Call divert
(Menu 5)
The Call Divert net-
work service allows
you to direct your incoming calls to
another phone number.
1Press Menu, scroll with or to
Call divert, and press Select.
