Calendar
(Menu 8)
The phone is pro-
vided with a calen-
dar that can also be used as an
appointment or birthday reminder.
REMEMBER! Your phone must be
switched on to use this function. Do not
switch on the phone when wireless phone
use is prohibited or when it may cause in-
terference or danger.
1Press Menu, scroll with or to
Calendar, and press Select.
2Scroll to the desired date.
3Press Options for the following
functions. Scroll to the desired func-
tion and press OK.
View day
Shows notes set for the chosen day.
Use or to browse through the
note(s). Pressing Options allows
access to the following functions.
Scroll to the desired function and press
OK.
Erase
Deletes the note. Press OK to con-
firm.
Edit
Allows you to edit the note. Edit the
note and press OK.
Move
Allows you to change the date and
time of the note. Key in the new
date and press OK. Repeat this with
the time.
Send note
Allows you to send the note as a
text message (SMS). Key in the re-
cipient’s phone number and press
OK.
Send via IR
Copies the note via the phone’s
infrared port to another similar
phone.
Make note
Allows you to write a note. Scroll to the
desired type of note and press OK.
Reminder (indicated by )
Key in the note and press OK. Key in
the date and press OK. For setting a
tone alert, see below.
Call ()
Key in the desired phone number or
recall it from Phone book, and press
OK. Key in the date and press OK.
Repeat this with the time. For set-
ting a tone alert, see below.
Meeting ()
Key in the note and press OK. Key in
the date and press OK. Repeat this
with the time. For setting a tone
alert, see below.
Birthday ()
Key in the person’s name and press
OK. Key in the date of birth and
press OK. Key in the year of birth
and press OK. The note and person’s
age will be shown in every forth-
coming year. For setting a tone
alert, see below.
